Meet the Team

As we have grown to 12+ professionals, and have recently moved to a larger office space, McIlvain & Associates has never wavered from Sandy’s original concept. We understand the fear and apprehension that can be involved when choosing a new CPA firm. Our clients appreciate the home-like feel of our offices, the friendly voice that answers the phone when they call, and the timeliness of getting that call returned.

Kimberly Anderson
Kimberly graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in
Accounting. She has real estate and cost accounting experience. She
has used QuickBooks for the past 10 years in the construction company she
and her husband own. Kimberly and her husband Toby have lived in
Grapevine for 19 years, and they spend their spare time with their three

  Janine Castleberry
Janine is Operations and Business Development Manager for our firm.  In addition to managing our internal office processes, she is involved in many local Chambers and serves as Chair for Dynamic Women Networking in Southlake.  She and her husband Ronnie have four children and two grandchildren.  As empty nesters, they often enjoy getting away to their home-away-from-home on Lake Texoma and also visiting their son at Texas Tech University.   Kathy Clifton
Kathy graduated with a B.S. in accounting from Arizona State University.   Kathy has lived in Colleyville since 1993 and has been married to her college sweetheart for 30 years.  They have 3 children. You can contact Kathy at info@mcilvain.net.
  Elaine Hildebrand
Elaine is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of North Texas and has corporate experience in construction, property management, real estate, oil & gas, and health insurance.  As an active Church member, Elaine enjoys being part of the music ministry, mission projects, and the childcare program.  Elaine’s hobbies include playing the piano and reading.  Her most recent endeavor has been learning to play the harp.  She is a member of the DFW National Ovarian Cancer Coalition’s survivor/volunteer group and also does volunteer work for Mercy House Ministries, Inc. of Southlake.  You can contact Elaine at elaine@mcilvain.net.
Jeni Masters
Jeni is currently a magna cum laude student earning her B.S. in accounting at Colorado Technical University.  She has 24 years combined experience in retail, service, construction and job cost accounting and has used QuickBooks for 15 years.  She has one Son, whom she is very proud, serving our country in the U.S. Marine Corps.  In her spare time you can find her enjoying the sun and the water.  You may contact her at jeni@mcilvain.net.
Stephanie H. Mays
Stephanie is our Office Manager and may well be your first point of contact for our firm. Stephanie strives to make all visitors to our office feel at ease and welcome. She graduated with a B.A. from Ambssador College in Pasadena, CA and quickly found her way to Texas after college graduation. She, her husband Charlie and their two children have lived in Colleyville for 12 years. She enjoys family camping weekends and reading. Stephanie can be reached at stephanie@mcilvain.net.
Pam McClintock is the Administrative Assistant for the firm.  In addition to Pam performing many “behind the scenes” tasks she may also be your first point of contact when calling our office.  Pam is married to Tim and has 2 daughters and lives in Grapevine.   Sandra McIlvain
Sandy is the principal owner of the business.  She has been a CPA since 1982 and enjoys working with clients and her staff in solving accounting issues and saving taxes.  Over the years, the firm has grown steadily and her focus on providing excellent customer service and client satisfaction has never wavered.  Sandy and her husband Ted have 2 children and 6 grandchildren.  In her spare time, Sandy enjoys photography, travel and sailing.  You can contact Sandy at sandra@mcilvain.net.
 
Carolyn Mills
Although Carolyn is not in the front office these days, she is working as a Staff “behind the scenes”.   She enjoys working with such a good group of ladies.  We work hard but have some fun along the way.  There is a big team spirit that goes a long way in solving problems and getting the work out.   You can contact Carolyn at info@mcilvain.net.
Maryanne Nielson

  Dee Dee Richards
Dee Dee has over 15 years of corporate accounting experience. Prior to working with our firm, she was the Director of Accounting for a nutrition company in Torrance, CA for over 10 years. For five of those years, she was the Human Resources Manager, along with being Director of Accounting.  Dee Dee is involved with the Keller Chamber of Commerce and the local YMCA. She moved to Texas from Los Angeles, CA in 2007 and she has a beautiful daughter and a wonderful husband. Kelli Strube is a CPA with over 20 years diversified accounting and financial management experience with Big Four accounting firm, private industry, internal audit and tax. She has significant experience in interaction with all levels of management, professional services, investment partners/shareholders and various government agencies. Services also include estate and gift tax returns, corporate set-up and multi-entity tax planning. Kelli lives in Grapevine with her husband Gary, 2 dogs and a nuisance cat.   Tasha Whiddon is a CPA with 12 years of accounting experience.  She graduated with a B.S. in accounting from Wichita State University in 2000 and went on to receive her MBA in 2004 from Southwest Missouri State University. Tasha’s experience includes 4 years of corporate  manufacturing, 4 years of corporate commercial real estate and 2 years of public accounting. Tasha moved to Texas in October 2004 and lives in North Richland Hills with her husband and four year old daughter.   You can contact Tasha at tasha@mcilvain.net.
